My Review
Erasing: Shadows is an intriguing, sometimes confusing but enjoyable ride through reality and astral projection. Baby Brandon is the whole reason this story is awesome. Without him, there would be no story. When Brandon starts to disappear right before his mothers' eyes, she tries to hold on and is left with just a shoe. She goes after him but goes a little too far and BAM...she's nine and clueless. Her husband and their friends go in after her to befriend her and get her to remember. But when things start to go wrong in the astral realm, it affects the real world. Tragedy strikes and the gang is left to wonder what is causing Brandon to travel and Mira to forget. Secrets are exposed and new bonds are made. It truly is a grand adventure.
Overall, Erasing: Shadows is a good book. It is confusing in the beginning only because everything is taking place all at once. But after Mira disappears, it slows down to a good pace and things become less confusing. I liked the multiple points of view that the author gave. With the promise of a new gang in the works, Erasing: Shattered sounds even better!
