Trust Me Blog Tour

After the loss of her parents, Allison Scott spent the past year of her life being emotionally disconnected, and afraid of the loss that comes from loving someone.
Allison is finally ready to find the person she used to be when she embarks on her getaway vacation to Miami. In Miami, she meets Damien Wales—a man who will stop at nothing to make Allison his—in every way possible.
Being heavily pursued by Damien, forces Allison to decide whether or not to open herself up again. Her attraction to him is undeniable, and she finds herself being brought back to life by the mere presence of him. But does she truly know enough about Damien to let herself be open for that kind of pain again?
Damien's tragic past has left him a cold and distant person. However, the moment he sees Allison, he's inexplicably drawn to her. She brings out a side in him that he thought was lost forever.
Damien’s dark past starts to collide with the present in a way he never thought possible. He's now forced to do everything he can to keep Allison in his life as she learns about his past.

Will both Damien and Allison be able to put aside their pasts and learn to trust each other?

My Review:

Trust Me is a steamy, learning to trust and love type book.

Heavy pasts full of tragedies, Allison and Damien are drawn to one another like a moth to a flame. They can't get enough of each other but are both too afraid to let the other one in.  Allison fears rejection and Damien fears for her safety. Damien is a control freak who is obsessed with Allison's safety. She doesn't understand until she is faced with the reason why. Damien wants to keep Allison safe from his past and is very tight-lipped.

Will they drive each other crazy with the secrets or will they learn to trust each other?

Kristin did an outstanding job with Trust Me.The story is flawless and captures the feelings of losing loved ones and over-controlling boyfriends. Having stalker issues and vindictive exes is always fun...NOT! Trust Me has all of those little quirks. They fit seamlessly together and trying to figure out who is the stalker is racking my brain. I can not wait for the next install to this series.

My Review:
I had no problem getting back into the feel of this series. Right from the start, you experience the high that Samantha experiences with death and she shares it with her hubby Austin. Just when you thought you saw the last of the sexy bad guy Nixon-you thought wrong! He is back and even better than before. He is willing to fight for Sam.
Embracing Death is so full of sick twists and turns that you don't know which side anyone is on. Then finally...BAM you are hit with the sick and twisted truth that I didn't see coming.

D.T did an amazing job on Embracing Death and making this series soar. I can not wait to see what comes next for Sammy and Austin.

ARV-3 Release Day Blitz

June 6, 2014: The beginning of the end. The Apocalypse.

A nuclear fallout wiped out every living thing on the planet, except for a few thousand of us who took shelter in underground bunkers across the globe. Now, after thirteen long years, we were finally able to return to the topside to begin to rebuild.

We thought we were alone. We were never more wrong.

Before the fallout, scientists had worked on creating an anti-radiation vaccine (ARV). The first two attempts failed, but despite the incomplete tests and results, the government approved and distributed the third serum to the masses in an effort to aid those who had no shelter.

It worked, keeping those who remained on the topside alive, but it also altered and mutated them. This new and infectious threat had completely outnumbered us. Now, we not only had to rebuild our planet. We would have to fight for it.

My name is Abigail Park. I’m seventeen, and this is my story.

My family is what keeps my heart beating, and my world a happy place to be.

I love reading great books that whisk me away from reality, even if for a little while. :) Writing is my passion. I love creating new worlds and new characters, and taking wondrous adventures with them.

In My Dreams & Hidden Wings were both recently published through Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing. Descent (A Hidden Wings novella) will be released May 15, 2013, and Broken Wings (Book 2 in the Hidden Wings Series) will be released June 1, 2013.

One day I will find my magic wardrobe, and ride away on my magical unicorn... ♥ Until then... I'll keep writing! ;)

HAPPY READING!

Origins Blog Tour & Giveaway

Choice (Origins, #1)
It was chance, guided by the hands of a god that brought them together. Would their choice bind them, or be the cause of their destruction?
Natasha never believed that the fairy tales she read to her niece about supernatural beings were real. She read them to give her niece hope. She, herself, had all but given up on love, until the fateful day when she went scuba diving in the Bermuda Triangle and was thrust into a culture of people that’d change her life forever.
On a legendary island, she meets Raif, the shape shifting Warrior Chief of Atlantis, and her soul mate. Their attraction is instant, powerful and foretold by an oracle, centuries before Natasha was born. She struggles with the attraction, unwilling to believe in soul mates, and fraught with the desire to return to the surface where she can continue her monotonous life, free from the intense and confusing emotions she feels around Raif.
All his life, Raif’s searched for her. To have finally found her after so long, is a dream come true. Trouble is; this dream’s more of a nightmare that he can’t seem to find a way out of than the haven it’s supposed to be. His people have become complacent, and her arrival is the beginning of fulfilling an ancient prophesy; a prophesy that not too many are willing to see fulfilled, least of all, his king.
Together they’re faced with the most difficult choice of their lives: doom a hidden, mythical culture to eternal segregation, or sacrifice their love to reunite Atlantis with the rest of the world?

Changed (Origins, #2)
Vampires, Shape shifters, Necromancers, Supernatural Hunters - I sat in awe listening as Stephan, leader of the Vampire clans, told me about their culture. I'm glad he waited until now to tell me. I didn't believe the unbelievable was possible until I was mated to a powerful Shape shifter three months ago. After that, all sorts of crazy things started happening to me.
I've got to say, I'm a believer now.

Created (Origins, 3)
Four hundred years ago, my life was destroyed. Everything I knew and loved was obliterated as my powers surged for the first time. My family, my home and my life were taken from me, in flames.
I was transformed against my will into an abomination, a dizzien of hell to forever walk the night, a vampire. For four hundred years I've walked this earth, the painful screams of my family a constant reminder of the monster I am.
I've never known love, or the gentle touch of a man. The only respite from the agony of my existence was the three hundred years spent with Stephan. Although, once She came, I was again tossed aside, shunned and ignored.
Never again!
I'm done with being condemned, suffering for the consequences of something I didn't know I was capable of. It's time I lived.
My name is Victoria, and this is my story.

Consumed (Origins, #4)
For three hundred years I lived with Stephan; learning about the culture forced upon me, growing as a pyrokinetic vampire and healing from Mneseus' century of abuse. Before Stephan's guidance and direction, I was an empty shell. His kindness, compassion and just beliefs showed me that there could be a life without pain. Over time, I learned to love again. Foolishly I believed Stephan and I would be partners, comfortable and content without half-life for eternity.
Then She came and ruined it.
I left them to find a place I could spend the rest of my lonely years. Mneseus' last words reverberated through the centuries, reminding me, I wasn't worthy of love. It would be now, when I finally resigned myself to an eternity of solitude, that I would find it.
Logan was everything I'd ever needed in a man, with one fatal flaw. Could I look past that, risking my heart, my future and his very life to be with him? Was love truly enough?

Envisioned (Origins, #4)
As leader of the wolves, Auto holds immense power and responsibility. He's Stephan's second, and his oldest friend. In truth he'd give it all up to find his mate, his Alma Xemelga.
Sage was plagued with nightmares of a wolf hunting in the Michigan forests. Drawn to the wolf for reasons she can't understand, she never spoke of these dreams... until she met him.
With Auto's secret in her hands, he wonders, can she accept him for what he truly is? And when he learns of her powerful, hidden talents, will she be able to accept herself?

Convergence (Origins, #5)
Cover Reveal (no other information available at this time)

The Lascivious Transformation

Betrayed by her fiancé to the werewolves, transformed into one against her will and untrained by her maker, Kiera was then turned over to a faction of hunters that worked with the wolves to find a cure for Shifting. Unwilling, Kiera was subjected to an erotic and torturous retransformation into her human state. After all that, would she become human again? Would she ever find a man worthy of her love?

My Review:

The Origins Series is one of a kind. The city of Atlantis is host to all supernatural creatures ranging from vampires to weres. In this series, we follow a vampire head honcho named Stephan, his pseudo ward Victoria, a human named Natasha and a few others. We go on incredible journeys that include finding their true mates, being changed against their wills and finding sick individuals who believe they can break the mating bonds.

Jean has done an outstanding job with creating such an amazing series. She has managed to transform an ancient and sought-after city from something in legends to a paranormal paradise. I can not wait to see what Ms. Booth has up her sleeves next. Stay tuned to the Origin Series for more incredible characters and hot paranormal lovin!

Blurb:
Cameo lives in a caged supernatural city where all species are tagged at birth with silver brands embedded in their foreheads. Her X brand identifies her as a Mixbreed, but she’s so much more. Like a chameleon, she can shift from one person’s image to another.

It’s a great way to make money for a habitat street kid, or Cage Punk as most people call them. Wiz, her street partner-in-crime, finds her jobs to use her abilities. Some jobs entail changing into people to take academic tests. Others require more skill and involve higher risk.

When Wiz asks Cameo to stand in for a Were-wolf teenager who doesn't want to go to her debutante ball, it seems like just another job, until a corpse is discovered and an old friend of Wiz appears.

Kenya Wright always knew she would be famous since the ripe old age of six when she sang the Michael Jackson thriller song in her bathroom mirror. She has tried her hand at many things from enlisting in the Navy for six years as a Persian-Farsi linguist to being a nude model at an art university.

However, writing has been the only constant love in her life. Will she succeed? Of course.
For she has been coined The Urban Fantasy Queen, the Super Iconic Writer of this Age, The Lyrical Genius of Our Generation. Granted, these are all terms coined by her, within the private walls of her bathroom as she still sings the Michael Jackson thriller song.

Kenya Wright currently resides in Miami with her three amazing, overactive children, a supportive, gorgeous husband, and three cool black cats that refuse to stop sleeping on Kenya’s head at night.

ARC Review: Damaged by Becca Vincenza

(facebook)
Damaged

There are some beings in this world, long thought to be extinct. Some seek to protect them, others want control, but some . . . some are hell bent on their destruction.

Audrey was taken from her father, hidden away from the world, and tortured for five years. She was rescued, but is she really safe, or is there someone else waiting to betray her? Can she trust those who saved her? Can she learn to accept who she really is?

Stone was on a routine mission to extract valuable information from a rival clan of paranormals. Instead, he and his team find something much more valuable: a scarred, damaged young woman who holds many secrets, and whose power is beyond anything they could ever have imagined. There is much more to Audrey than meets the eye and Stone is determined to protect her.

Audrey and Stone are about to find out it’s hard to know who to trust.

To Be Released January 2014

My Thoughts on Damaged:

Congratulations on your breakthrough novel Becca!

Damaged was.... a mystery, a love story, a nightmare, and awakening.  Becca managed to take what I thought was going to be a book about a girl being rescued and falling in love with her savior and added something I wasn't expecting.....paranormal awesomeness.
*My Happy Dance for Becca*
Audrey had been kidnapped for years being used and abused. Enter Stone: the guy who saved her in more ways than one. Audrey and Stone develop an incredible relationship totally built on trust and understanding.

Stone and Audrey are unaware of the troubles they are about to face. And it doesn't help that Audrey can't remember her past or she just refuses to share it with anyone.

When her big secret is finally revealed, I was like:
I KNEW IT!!!

Becca did an outstanding job on keeping you on your toes and dropping subtle clues about Audrey. The characters are incredible like Nixie and Elijah. He is my favorite. Dark and seemingly cold but definitely hot. Nixie is like the BFF who you've known since Kinder.

Damaged will leave you haunted wanting more of Audrey and Stone.

So on that note, I suggest you add Damaged to your TBR list on Goodreads today!

Buh bye.....toodles....lata....see ya real soon! XoXo

About the Author
same

Oh jeez…do you know how many people I told I didn't want to write this? So here is the one my friend made me:
Becca Vincenza lives in wonderful Michigan. She has a love for Skittles, rainbows, Star Wars, *giggles* and Hot Men. She spends time in her basement with Airicka… Apparently that’s where the best ideas come from.
Any who….she loves meeting new people, so feel free to message her on Facebook and friend her on Goodreads!
Although her phone number will not be given out because, well…she doesn't like heavy breathing.

So a sort of serious one:
For real, I am a geek. I grew up watching Star Wars, and my father read Lord of the Rings to us, along with the C. S. Lewis series. I love to write. In all honesty, it took me a lot of work to get where I am today and I don’t regret a moment of it. Reading and writing are honestly the best things ever. I couldn't be happier that my parents put me through so much extra help. Anyways! Me, me, me…. Huh…I love paranormal stuff…Love it.

The Virgin Charmer Blog Tour & Giveaway

Hope Richards has only ever known the life of a big city girl. When her boss gives her an ultimatum, she decided to try out the country life during her forced vacation. After falling in love with a mysterious old mansion on the edge of a town that time forgot, Hope finds herself caught up in a whirlwind of someone else's crazy love obsession, and realizes in the middle of it all how lacking her own life is in that department. Hope is faced with a decision: return to the mundane life she thought was her passion, or find a way to experience something far stronger that she secretly yearns for.

“Oh, no he did not!” Abigail yelled, throwing her hair over her right shoulder to dramatize her anger. Hope was momentarily blinded by visions of Luci Tristan, the stuck up prom queen from her high school days. She had to fight to hold in a giggle.

“Relax, hun. He’s obviously got some pent up anger he needs to release. Let him use you as his verbal target for now. It’s better than him using your face as his punching bag.” Abigail stared at Hope in absolute shock.

“I cannot believe you just suggested that my Garrett has the ability to hit me.” Hope raised both brows at her younger friend, a bit shocked herself.

“And I cannot believe you’re backing him after he called you a bitch.” The two stared at each other, stuck in a battle of estrogen. Finally, they simultaneously burst into laughter, the air quickly clearing of all bitter anger.

“You’re right. I shouldn’t be so harsh on him. I just don’t understand what his problem is. He was perfectly fine until…” Hope nodded knowingly when Abigail refused to finish her thought.

“Until I came along. I know what you mean, and I don’t understand it either. He acts like he wants to be my friend, and when I tell him it’s not an option, he throws a kiddie tantrum.”

“You told him that?” Abigail’s voice was full of true shock and admiration. “Why would you tell him that?”

“Because your friendship is what matters to me. I have no interest in getting to know him.” Hope inwardly kicked herself for lying through her teeth. No matter how many times she told herself the same thing, she knew she was lying. The magnetic pull that Garrett sustained was addictive. Each time he was around, it grew harder to resist, and each time he was away, the hollow ache in Hope’s chest grew. She would be absolutely insane if she didn’t recognize how she truly felt. Not that it mattered in the least. She could never allow herself to get close to Garrett.

“You are a true friend, Hope.” Abigail, gave Hope a light hug, beaming with gratitude.

“It’s nothing. He’s just a stupid little boy. I’m eight years older than both of you. I’d feel like I was robbing the cradle!” Hope forced herself to laugh alongside her friend, but her stomach was in knots. For once, her head and her heart were on the same page. For once, Hope wanted to shoot both to make them stop working at all.

My Review:

I found this book actually kind of funny. I kept picturing Hope roll her eyes as she spoke to her ex-boyfriend/new boss on the phone. Amazing! I felt myself get wrapped up in the crazy obsession as much as Hope did.

When I read the title "The Virgin Charmer", I took the mind-in-the-gutter approach and quickly learned how wrong I was. I'm still not sure what direction this book is headed but I am definitely interested. I can not wait to read the next install to this series.

Rachel piqued my interest with how she ended book one. It was so not fair but it is understandable. Nice job!

Somewhere amidst her forty-hour job and playtime with her three-year-old, Rachel finds time to walk the streets of worlds only existing on manmade paper. She resides in small college town Northwestern Nebraska with her young son, just a few blocks from a city park, the public schools, and her parents. She enjoys socializing with adults, sipping strawberry wine, and head banging to music that doesn't carry a beat worth the effort of rock star hair slinging.

"The paranormal world is a much more desired realm. There's no limit to possibilities, no comparison to probabilities, no concept of actualities. There's no solid platform for racism, judgment, or hierarchy. It is exactly the manifestation you choose it to be, darkness and death included."

My Review:

Hollywood Angels is a spunky fun read that had me smiling all throughout while reading it. Karri has managed to keep the momentum going from Amateur Angel. Right from the start Ashley is right in the middle of trying to figure out where she is. Just when she thinks she has her feelings for Cannon under control...BAM she's face to face with her love one again. It's funny watching him get frustrated the way he's does and over the things he's does. I really enjoyed reading Hollywood Angel and I'm sure you will too.
