Fern by Amy Richie

“It’s strange how fast life changes. Just when you think you have it all figured out, a council man hands you six werewolves to take care of.”

Willow and her pack had barely settled into their new town when the council showed up again. Only this time its to ask for their help—to save Gage. How can Willow refuse?

Suddenly, Willow is thrust into a world of childhood nightmares. The Ancient City. But it isn’t at all what she thought it would be. In fact, Willow soon realizes that not many things are what she thought they would be and she has to figure out for herself which things are worth fighting for.

My Review

Ok so....wow! Talk about awesomesauce with a side of bloody Hell! We catch up with Willow and her pack without a break in the storyline. The Council shows up in their backyard asking for help; they want to go into the Ancient City and rescue Gage. An added bonus...Bella or should I say Fern and maybe Lily?
Not having read Willow prior to Fern, I was a little lost. So what did I do you ask; I read Willow of course! After that...Fern was intense! The beautiful imagery painted with words to describe the Ancient City's surrounding woods and city itself was amazing. Amy did an outstanding job with both Willow and Fern that I can not wait for the next install to come out!
