Book Review! Falter by Haven Cage

In FALTER, a dark New Adult/Adult Urban Fantasy novel, Nevaeh Richards thinks she has found a chance to leave her homeless life behind.                   My Review

Falter has ended a reading slump I have been in for the past several months. Unable to find a book that I could get lost in, Falter fell into my lap and I thought "sure, why not?" I am so excited and frustrated that I read this novel end to end. Let me explain. My excitement is over the fact that I have found a book that is edited perfectly, doesn't confuse the reader, kept my attention, and contains characters that are not flat and fill me with their emotions. I am frustrated with the fact that I am left without Severance, Book 2 in the Faltering Souls Series but pleased where Falter left the reader.
The main character Nevaeh is a twenty-something girl who happens to live on the streets. With no memories to go off on, Nevaeh's only family is her father figure George. When the nightmares start to become reality, events begin to unfold that alter Nevaeh's daily life and she begins to question her sanity. Torn between two worlds, Neveah must make sacrifices no one should ever have to face and only a few lucky will ever have to make.
Falter is an amazing read and I truly hope that other readers enjoy it just as much as I have.
