Welcome to Out There Book Reviews! On behalf of Bawaka’s Book Fair, I have been selected to be part of this awesome blog hop! I love Christmas! During the holidays, I wrap everyone's presents because I am the wrapping paper queen LOL. I cook special dishes that I grew up with such as xiao pao (pronounced shoe pow). They are these awesome meat-filled buns that are steamed and everything is made from scratch. It's like the filipino/chinese equivalent to tamales(with the time and all). I also make lumpia(filipino rolled tacos) and all sorts of desserts. My all-time favourite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. It played all day I was in labor with my first born. She was born the day after Christmas =) Now that I have 2 beautiful daughters, we started our own traditions with the lighting of the Christmas tree and who gets to put the star on top. We don't have a special Christmas book because we love them all.
